New Album: Casablanca - Apocalyptic Youth

Casablanca is a Swedish/American five-piece band of seasoned musicians. Featuring Alice Cooper’s former mainstay guitarist and quintessential rock star, Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper, Dads Porno Mag, Electric Angels), Erik Stenemo of Swedish glam/synth rockers, Melody Club and Sahara Hotnights drummer, Josephine Forsman alongside Anders Ljung (Space Age Baby Jane) on vocals. Bass duties are handled by Mats Rubarth -a popular former Swedish national football star - known for picking up a staggering amount of yellow & red cards, and now bringing his entertaining style to the mix to complete Casablanca’s line-up.
Casablanca opened for KISS on the Swedish leg of their tour in 2010 and has performed on Swedish national TV and at the Swedish Eurovision finals. Their single, Downtown is receiving considerable airplay both in Sweden & internationally.
Ryan Roxie has learned from the best when it comes to diversifying & using his talents, with his own successful TV show in Sweden (The Big Rock Show), and plans on a follow up, he works for Gibson & runs regular guitar clinics. Ryan is currently focused on Casablanca as a working band and looks forward to visiting the UK to play a show in April (date tbc), “The UK is very special to me as I recorded my first album there -working with Tony Visconti. The tumultuous journey of getting this Casablanca album written, recorded & released has been as exciting and intriguing for me as that Electric Angels album and I’m looking forward to the rest of the ride”
